    Saturday Afternoon: Hot, 30C, easterly wind and getting quite strong now, clear and sunny..... We have just got back from Maria's, Beccie has gone to Alicante with Antony and is staying at the apartment again for the weekend.

    I went down the road to Maria's     earlier to book our table and they asked me if I was going to fly today, so I went home and put on a little flying display for them with Lady B and luckily just before the afternoon wind came up....

    We have just finished our first week of daily radiotherapy, at least apart from Monday, they haven't made us wait. We have realised that it's the other things that are going to take it out of us as we try to fit them in around the Benidorm appointments.

    The weather has calmed down each evening this week and I have been flying in the gorgeous still thick air or a warm summers evening... (this is "bliss" in model flyer terms). 


    I mowed the strip, but as I didn't have enough gas, I only mowed a "strip" and OMG how much easier is to land! It's all about visual orientaion and nothing beats a strip to line up on.. Since I did that, not only does it look more the part, but my landings have been perfect!
